Office Administrator & Comptroller
With a career spanning over two decades, Ms. Wetherington is grateful to
have been presented with tremendous opportunities to expand her knowledge
and refine her skill sets in business administration. While attending
the University of Central Florida, she held her first role in the legal
field serving as a Deputy Clerk in the Family Law Division of the Osceola
County Clerk of Court. Here, she had the opportunity to work directly
with customers, attorneys, and judges, which resulted in gaining a valuable
combination of industry knowledge and experience. After four years of
government service, she was presented with an opportunity to work as a
legal secretary with a local Family Law practice. Here, she gained a contrasting
perspective of the legal field, one which furthered her interest as well
as her dedication to provide an excellent client experience.
Upon graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration in Finance, Ms. Wetherington left
the legal field to run her family’s small business which specializes
in building custom residential homes for families throughout Central Florida.
As the economic tides turned, the family business’ reigns were returned
to her general contractor father.
Shortly thereafter, she found herself as an independent business consultant
gaining further valuable work experience while providing business administration
and accounting services to small businesses across various industries.
These combined experiences led Ms. Wetherington to attain multiple professional
certifications including Notary Public, Certified Notary Signing Agent,
and Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
Since joining The Maher Law Firm in 2014, Ms. Wetherington’s dynamic
skill sets afforded her a rapid progression into her current roles as
Office Administrator & Comptroller. She is attune to the constantly
evolving needs of the business and is committed to proficiency for leading
The Maher Law Firm in delivering supreme client experiences.
