Jason Fraxedas was born and raised in the Orlando area. With a passion
for biological sciences, he majored in Psychology with an emphasis in
neurobiology at the University of Florida. He then went on to graduate
from Stetson University College of Law in 2008. While a student at Stetson,
Jason participated in the Certified Legal Intern program with Gulfcoast
Legal Services, and was certified by the Florida Supreme Court to provide
free legal aid for low income individuals.
Jason's father was born in Cuba, and immigrated to the United States
when he was a young child to escape communism. As a result, Jason has
always been sensitive to the injustices than can occur when the large
and powerful take advantage of the individual.
Naturally, Jason's entire practice focuses on helping individuals who
have been harmed when large companies place profits over people. Jason
is part of the Mass Tort litigation team at the Maher Law Firm, where
he has handled thousands of cases helping people who were wrongfully injured
by dangerous drugs and devices. He was recently selected as a
Super Lawyers® Rising Star for 2013; an honor limited to 2.5% of lawyers in the
state of Florida.
Jason spends every available moment with his wife and daughter. As a family,
they love playing and watching anything to do with sports and fitness,
including golf, baseball, softball, basketball and football.
In whatever he does, from his career to his family to his hobbies, Jason
is passionate, positive and genuine. He is admitted in Florida, District
of Columbia, United States District Courts for the Middle district of
Florida and the Northern District of Florida.
